Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pasadena, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project involves widening the sidewalk along Allen Avenue between Walnut Street and north of the Allen Ave/Locust Street intersection, as well as installing curb extensions (bulb-outs) at the intersections of Allen Avenue with Walnut Street and Locust Street. It includes modifying the existing traffic signal at Allen Avenue and Walnut Street, installing a new pedestrian hybrid beacon at Allen Avenue and Locust Street, and replacing street lights between these intersections. As part of the traffic signal modification, new signal equipment, including standards, conduit, conductors, pull boxes, and controllers, will be installed. Additional work includes fiber optic installation, roadway restriping, catch basin relocation, and pavement slurry sealing. Question Submission Deadline: April 8, 2025, 5:00pm. Questions must be submitted via the City's eProcurement Portal at online. Electronic Bid bond is required. Bidders must provide all required information for the City to verify the bond with their bid. The bond must meet the following requirements and characteristics: Bid security in the amount of five-percent (5%) of the total bid price in the form of a redeemable or callable electronic surety bond, meeting City requirements, must accompany all bids.
