The project involves widening the sidewalk along Allen Avenue between Walnut Street and north of the Allen Ave/Locust Street intersection, as well as installing curb extensions (bulb-outs) at the intersections of Allen Avenue with Walnut Street and Locust Street. It includes modifying the existing traffic signal at Allen Avenue and Walnut Street, installing a new pedestrian hybrid beacon at Allen Avenue and Locust Street, and replacing street lights between these intersections.
