** As of September 29,2025, project is cancelled. All bids were rejected and the Council is not moving forward with the project.** Each bidder must submit with his bid either a certified check, a cashiers check, or bid bond payable to the City of Mountain Brook in an amount equal to the lesser of five percent (5%) of the bid or $10,000. Performance and labor and material payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required when the Contract is presented by the Contractor to the City No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of the bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The City reserves the right to waive technical errors in applications, or abandon the pre-qualification process, should its interests appear to be promoted thereby. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted, and to waive informalities and technical errors, if in the City's judgment, the best interests of the City will thereby be promoted.
