Site work and paving for a civil project in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.

This project provides for the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and work necessary for the bridge painting and rehabilitation between MP 65.80 and MP 66.94 in Westmoreland County. Work includes but is not limited to barrier retrofits, placement or replacement of barrier, replacement of guiderail, deteriorated concrete repair, spot/zone painting, install BEJS deck joints, and other required work. Work also includes maintenance and protection of traffic. Work items include, but are not limited to: 2,500 SF High Strength Fiber Wrap 1,655 SF Class AA Cement Concrete Repairs 1,043 SY Epoxy Overlay 86 LF Cantilever Combination Work Platforms 2,790 SF Underdeck Protection Shields 15 CY Class AA Cement Concrete 1,040 SF Painting Existing Structural Steel 272 LF Bridge Expansion Joint System 280 LF Type 31-S Guide Rail. Milepost 65.80 is located approximately 1.5 miles West of the Irwin Interchange, Exit 67, and Milepost 66.94 is located approximately 0.4 miles West of the Irwin Interchange, Exit 67, in Westmoreland County. An electronic bid bond, from an approved vendor, with corporate surety, in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security. The bid security of the three (3) low bidders will be retained until the execution of the contract. (The normal time for execution of the contract is approximately four [4] weeks.) A Prequalification Certification and Applicable Capacity Rating assigned by the Prequalification Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is a necessary prerequisite for bidding on this project. Question Deadline 04/25/2025 at 12:00 PM ET Any questions for this project must be submitted electronically in EBS by registered business partners . The Provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of August 15, 1961, P.L. 987, as amended, together with the rates and regulations promulgated by the Secretary of Labor and Industry applicable thereto, shall apply to this contract.
