Reference Number 0000380737 Job Location: Durango, CO Fort Lewis College intends to design and construct a partially sheltered, outdoor gathering space for a variety of events. The project is to be located within the existing circular plaza between the Center of Southwest Studies and the Community Concert Hall buildings. The Sky Pavilion will be an open-air style pavilion that can accommodate up to 100 individuals. The design shall include power and AV equipment for a variety of events, enclosed storage for moveable tables and chairs, and dedicated space to accommodate 350 - 400 people on an open grass space west of the pavilion. The new structure will effectively integrate into the existing circular plaza, respecting and enhancing existing architectural features. SCOPE OF SERVICES: The scope of services will include assistance to the State during the process of design, construction, and warranty period. Specific tasks to be performed by the Design/Build Entity (D/B) include those generally performed by the D/B construction community where the Designer is also the Contractor. Anticipated Construction Start/Finish February 2026 - August 2026 Fort Lewis College has budgeted $1,500,000 for the design and construction of the Sky Pavilion with design work expected to begin summer 2025 and construction to be completed by the fall of 2026.
