Reference Number 0000377648 Delivery Point: City of Durango Bid Intent Not Available The City of Durango invites interested, qualified persons or firms, capable of providing the required service, to submit bids for Tree Planting on City Property & ROW. This bid shall be awarded on an "All or None" basis. Work shall consist of purchasing and planting of approximately 40 to 75 trees on city property.2. Provide all plant material and materials per City standards and detail. 1. Work shall consist of purchasing and planting of approximately 40 to 75 trees on city property.2. 2. Provide all plant material and materials per City standards and detail. 3. Provide complete and total installation of plant material. 4. All plantings shall be per the attached City of Durango's Tree and Shrub Specifications and details. 5. Project shall begin no later than May 1, 2025, and must be completed by September 30th, 2025. Project completion date will be mandatory, and no extension will be granted unless approved by the City Arborist. All requests must be submitted in writing to the City Arborist at least two weeks prior to mandatory completion date. Failure to do so will be cause for forfeiting the balance of the contract. 6. Provide unit cost for installation. City to coordinate with selected Contractor on specific planting sites, species, quantities, and schedule. As per Sec. 26-77 of the City Codes the successful contractor must be licensed. Permit to plant trees. No trees or shrubs shall be planted in or removed from any public street, public parking strip, or other public property within the city without the prior acquisition of a written permit from the director of parks and recreation.
