Site work and paving for a civil project in Kenai, Alaska. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Last Day for Questions: April 9, 2025, close of business. Proposers should contact the Public Works Department at purchasing@kenai.city . The City of Kenai is seeking to enter into an agreement with a qualified firm to provide professional Civil Engineering services to develop and execute a roadway project. Based on a mutually agreed upon program and budget, the Consultant's basic services shall consist of the normal duties associated with a phased design system. These include Schematic Phase Services, Design Development and Construction Document Phase Services, Bid Phase Services, and Construction Phase Services as described in this RFP. Notice of Award May 8, 2025 Notice to Proceed (Estimated) May 19, 2025 Completion of Design Documents .45 Days from Notice to Proceed. Proposals must be irrevocable for sixty (60) days after submission. Project Description The Public Works Department anticipates improvements including but not limited to the repair and upgrade of Aliak Dr. to repair the failing storm water system. Surveying services are included with this work. The engineer shall develop an existing site survey for the identified project below and provide established benchmarks for contractors to use during construction. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
