Renovation of a municipal facility in Union City, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 4,825-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility.
Bids will be received for the following Work: a. General Building Construction b. Interior Construction and Finish Work c. HVAC / Plumbing d. Electrical A certified check or bank draft, payable to Obion County, U.S. Government bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond, bonds, or insurance surety. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Obion County reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding whenever such rejection or waiver is in the interest of the Owner.
