Intent and Scope of Work On behalf of the University of Louisville (UofL) the Department of Procurement Services is requesting proposals from qualified signage vendors who can produce and deliver high quality signage for both exterior and interior uses. The specifications, requirements, complexity and location of each project vary in size and scope from hard signage/fascia, large exterior scrims, long term exterior finishes, wayfinding, and interior environmental signage. Visual examples of previous types of jobs will be provided upon request. It will be the responsibility of the awarded contractor(s) to provide all labor, materials, equipment to produce, deliver and install the final requested products to the University. All product shall be subject to inspection by the University prior to production and/or installation. Any product not acceptable to the University shall be re-produced at no additional charge (including expedited charges). The contractor(s) and UofL shall develop a pre-production process that will all but eliminate errors in the production of these interior and exterior signage. This shall include but not be limited to: Single point of contact, preferred delivery method of artwork, understanding of specific University signage requirements (exterior/interior, size, quantities, colors, location, install/delivery turn-a-round time, etc.).
