Renovation of an educational facility in Buffalo, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 24,064-square-foot educational facility.

Hayes Annex B and C Renovation All work on this Contract is to be completed by February 26, 2027, starting on or after the University's Notice to Proceed is received which shall be forwarded to the Contractor(s) upon approval of the contract of the New York State Comptroller. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. Each Proposal must be accompanied by the required amount of the bid security, which is 5% of the Total Bid, in the form of a bank draft or certified check, payable at sight to the University and drawn on a bank authorized to do business in the United States, or by a Bid Bond, on a form approved by the University, duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company or companies, approved by the University, authorized to do business in the State of New York as a surety. Attorneys-in-fact who execute a Bid Bond on behalf of a surety must affix thereto a certified and effectively dated copy of their power of attorney. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Please direct all questions to Shannon Beaton, Senior Buyer-Design and Construction at smprevit@buffalo.edu The scope of this renovation project is being completed to house the School of Architecture and Planning Fabrication Workshop and ancillary functions supporting the Department. Exterior scope of work includes but is not limited to selective abatement of existing asbestos coating on roof as required roof deck repairs, new EPDM retrofit roof membrane, new fire department connection, new concrete pads and fence enclosures for relocated dumpster and dust collector, new overhead door opening, and site access for deliveries, trash and recycling. Exterior scope also includes wastewater connection to adjacent utilities. Interior improvements include but are not limited to supporting infrastructure for all shop equipment, minor structural improvements, limited hazardous materials abatement, accessibility improvements for persons with disabilities, electrical and power of multiple types, lighting, data, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, dust collection and special ventilation, and makeup air with energy recovery. The interior finish scope is minimal and focused on renovated areas
