Contract No 81. Scope of Work: All construction is at the AWTF and includes: 1) Removal of existing electrical substation (medium voltage switch, transformer, low-voltage switchgear), motor control centers, and control panel. 2) Providing new electrical unit substation (medium voltage switch, transformer, low-voltage switchgear) and motor control center. 3) Transferring signal and control circuits to an existing control panel. 4) Providing temporary electrical equipment to facilitate plant operations while existing electrical equipment is replaced. 5) The Project includes asbestos-containing material Work, concrete, electrical, instrumentation and controls, and appurtenant Work. 6) Coordination with the OAE (Siemens) relative to the equipment and systems furnished for the Project. 7) Providing supervision, construction photographic and video documentation, field offices and trailers, construction general requirements and administrative requirements, coordination with Owner's operations during construction, and other Work shown, specified, and required. From the date the Contract Times commence to run, the Contract Times are: 1) 1,050 days (April 24, 2028): Substantial Completion. 2) 1,080 days (May 24, 2028): Ready for final payment. All questions concerning interpretations and clarifications of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted in writing to Arcadis of New York, Inc., 50 Fountain Plaza, Suite 360, Buffalo, NY 14202, attention: Jason Williams, Jason.Williams@arcadis.com. No interpretations or clarifications will be made orally. Each Bid shall be accompanied by bid security payable to the "Erie County Department of Environment and Planning" in the amount of five percent of Bidder's maximum bid price in the form of a bid bond. Bid bonds shall be on the form furnished with the Bidding Documents; bid bonds shall be duly acknowledged with power-of-attorney. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, and to award the Contract to the lowest responsible Bidder that submits a responsive Bid as described in Article 18 of the Instructions to Bidders, who has not been disqualified.
