This project generally consists of a Base Bid - Proposed 9,900 gallon AVGAS Fuel System, 9,900 gallon Jet A Fuel System, and decommissioning & abandoning of two existing buried 12,000 gallon fuel tanks. Prevailing wage rates apply. Contractors must be bonded and insured to the level indicated in the Contract Documents. The M/WBE goals for this project are 10% MBE & 15% WBE and the SDVOB goal for this project is 6%. EEO goals for this project are 2.6% minority participation and 6.9% female participation for each trade. The project is sales tax exempt. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal. Performance and Material Labor payment bonds will be required for an amount not less than 100% of the bid price including all add-on items.
