The City of St. Louis (hereinafter referred to as The City) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to contract with a qualified vendor(s) to provide tree felling, bucking, invasive species removal, and trail creation and maintenance. Our goals for this RFP are to: Provide the felling and bucking-up of trees within City Parks Provide for the removal of invasive plant species within City Parks Provide for the building and maintenance of trails within City Parks The successful winner of this RFP will agree to execute one or more of the following tasks for Parks in the City of St. Louis, Mo: o Tree Felling o Fell Trees as needed and as determined by Forestry on a weekly basis for 5 years o All debris to be bucked (hauled away by the city of St. Louis) o Vendor(s) need to coordinate with Forestry contact for weekly project description o Invasive Plant Species Removal o Cut down and pile invasive plant material to be ready for chipping or pickup o Trail Building and Maintenance o Cut new trails and maintain existing trails in City Parks with hand tools The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted and to waive any and/or all non-material irregularities pertaining to the submission of the proposal. If any prospective Respondent is in doubt as to the meaning of any part of the Request For Proposal, the Respondent may, by e-mail, submit to Zack Campbell-Hovland a written request for an interpretation no later than 4:30pm on April 25, 2025. The response(s) will be addressed via email and posted online with the RFP.
