Work contemplated to be performed under this contract is as follows: oMobiiization/Demobilization oReplacement of 7 fire hydrant assemblies oReplacement of hydrant tee and new in-line isolation valves on either side of the tee o Replacement of 38 water service lines and water meter boxes oProperty restoration. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of such bid. Checks shall be made payable to the City Treasurer. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond within the time stated m the specifications, the bid bond shall be forfeited to the City of Bellevue. The City of Bellevue reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date and time set for the opening thereof. Bid open description: Bids will only be opened at a teleconference on the date and hour stated below, at which time such bids will be opened, publicly read and tabulated for submission to the City Council at a future council meeting. Bidders must clearly mark the project name and bid number on the outside of the envelope. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
