The Long Beach Public Utilities Department (hereafter "Department" or "LBPUD") is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations to provide As-Needed Industrial Electrical Services at water treatment plants, pumping and lift stations, turnout, vaults and other facilities operated by LBPUD. Through this Contract, the Awarded Contractor shall supply personnel to perform the services for the LBPUD as described in the proposal and all other related documents. Exhibit A, Scope of Work/Requirements, provides complete details. 1.1. Contractor shall supply personnel during normal business hours as well as 24-7 standby service for weekends/holidays available to provide 24-7 on-call service. The on-call personnel shall respond within 30 min of request by LBPUD staff. LBPUD will require a contact person designated by the Contractor with a telephone number for 24 hours contact to support any emergent needs The contract period should be one year from the date of award. This Contract may be extended by mutual agreement for up to two additional periods of one year each in accordance with terms and conditions stated herein. The contract term will not exceed 36 months total.
