Site work for a stadium in Long Beach, California. Working plans call for site work for a stadium.
**As of June 25, 2025, the project was identified as a request for information. The City of Long Beach (City) is developing a temporary amphitheater that will span five to six acres along Queens Highway, adjacent to the Queen Mary and Harry Bridges Memorial Park. Planned to accommodate 11,000 to 15,000 attendees, the venue will feature a mix of floor, grandstand, and box seating, a pit configuration, VIP sections, and food and beverage concessions. The City is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to secure additional information from stage manufacturers that are able to fabricate, transport, and install a 60'x60' main stage with a four-post roof grid, featuring a 40' main and a 20' cantilever, set at a 40' trim, non-motorized. The anticipated budget is $1,600,000. This RFI aims to assess the stage market and gather information on pricing for fabrication, transportation, and installation. Below are additional stage specifications the City is considering for its new amphitheater: o 1 - 60' wide X 60' main stage with four-post roof grid (40' main with 20' cantilever) at 40' trim. Non-motorized. o 2 - 30' wide delay extensions for screen and additional audio coverage, plus added 10' roof eave truss on each side. o 1 - 140' wide X 60' stage at 6' with stairs and a loading dock. o Sway cables with turnbuckles. o Base detail for towers. o Ballast blocks. o Rigging package, lifelines, and work lighting package. o Branding and soft goods package: (by others) o 16 - Rigging I-Beams at 20' long The City reserves the right to modify these dates at any time, with appropriate notice to prospective Contractors.
