Site work and paving for a civil project in Grafton, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Rockingham, VT is accepting bids from contractors to install a 8' high x 8' wide x 63' long precast concrete box culvert in Rockingham, VT. The project includes the removal of the existing pavement, excavation to subgrade, installation of the new box, new gravel base and 5" of pavement. BIDDER hereby proposes to perform all work in accordance with the attached Scope of Work and General Construction Notes and Requirements at the prices stated below. BIDDER hereby agrees to complete the work under the contract between June 1, 2025 and October 1, 2025. In the event the work is not completed by October 1, 2025, BIDDER agrees to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of five hundred ($500.00) dollars for each consecutive calendar day until work is complete.
