Construct Taxiway B - Bid Package 2 AIP Project No.: 3-10-0007-040-2023 (Design) AIP Project No.: 3-10-0007-Pending (Construction) The successful bidder must comply with requirements set out in the contract documents including all Federally Required Contract Provisions including but not limited to the Buy American Preference, Civil Rights Title VI Assurances, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation, Foreign Trade Restrictions, Davis-Bacon Requirements, Affirmative Action Requirements, Government wide Debarment and Suspension, Disclosure of Lobbying, and Procurement of Recovered Materials. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of not less than ten (10) percent of the total amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and a Contract Payment Bond each equal to 100 percent of the Contract Price will be required for the successful Contractor. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 30 calendar days after the date of receiving bids, except that bids for any bidder who Consents to Extend Bid Award Date may, at the request of the Sussex County Council, be held for consideration for such longer period as may be agreed to, but in no event exceeding 180 calendar days. The Sussex County Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise.
