Aeronautical Obstruction Removal Bids are being sought from qualified Contractors to provide all labor, materials and equipment required to fell and remove trees on County-owned land adjacent to the Delaware Coastal Airport. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee equivalent to ten (10) percent of the amount of the base bid and all alternates. The bid guarantee may be a certified check or a bid bond secured by a surety authorized to do business in Delaware. The bid guarantee shall be made payable to Sussex County Council. Question Deadline 05/20/2025 All Contractor questions must be submitted in writing to J. Mark Parker of the Engineering Department at mark.parker@sussexcountyde.gov no later than three (3) business days prior to the bid opening. Sussex County reserves the right to extend the time and place of the bid opening on not less than two (2) calendar days' notice by electronic means to those who have obtained copies of the Contract Documents. Sussex County reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any or all bids. Contract Term: 30 Consecutive Calendar Days
