Site work for a water / sewer project in Georgetown, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project consists of furnishing and installing approximately 750 linear feet of eight-inch (8") and teninch (10") PVC gravity sewer main; 60 vertical feet of four-foot (4') diameter sanitary sewer manhole; 30 vertical feet of five-foot (5') diameter sanitary sewer manhole; seven (7) manhole frames and covers; a pump station with duplex submersible pumps with approximately 1,165 linear feet of four-inch (4") HDPE SDR 11 force main; pipe testing, and trench and roadway restoration. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Question Deadline 09/10/2025 at 12:00 PM ET Any Contractor having questions concerning the bid should submit them in writing via email to James Hoageson, P.E. Project Manager, at jhoageson@gmbnet.com.Questions should include the project name (WARWICK SEWER PROJECT PHASE 1) in the subject heading. Sussex County reserves the right to extend the time and place of Bid Opening on not less than two (2) calendar days' notice by certified delivery, electronic delivery, or facsimile. Doc Notes: The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: GEORGE, MILES & BUHR, LLC, 206 West Main Street, Salisbury, Maryland, (410) 742-3115. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined at Sussex County Engineering, Sussex County Administrative Office Building, 3rd Floor, 2 the Circle, Georgetown, Delaware 19947, (302) 855-7370, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are available in electronic format (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a nonrefundable charge of $100.00. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery method of choice. Bidding Documents will be sent via UPS/FedEx Ground Service; overnight requests will be billed to the prospective bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
