The Madison County Public Library Board of Trustees is requesting Lump Sum bids for an Abatement Project located at 114 & 116 5th Street in Richmond, Kentucky. Note that this project is Tax Exempt and Bidders ARE NOT to include taxes in their Bids. Scope of Work consists of, but is not limited to the following: o Textured Ceiling Removal o Linoleum Removal o Removal of all ACMs per Demolition Survey dated: 1/28/25 by: Air Source Technology, Michael McGonigle, Senior Industrial Hygienist Project Summary: The intent of this project is to have all Asbestos Containing Materials removed by a Certified Abatement Contractor from structures located at 114 & 116 5th Street in Richmond, KY, Contractor to provide Certifications, Abatement Plan, Letter Certifying all ACM's have been removed and Certificates from Landfill accepting ACMs. This will allow the Owner (MCPL) to demolish the structures to make way for a new parking lot.
