The City of Vandalia Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, Waive or Not Waive Any Informality in the Bids, and to Accept Any Bid Which It Deems Most Favorable to the City. It is Agreed That This Bid May Not Be Withdrawn for a Period Of 45 Days From Opening Thereof or It Will Be Subject to Forfeit The 5% Bid Bond Provided With the Bid. The Contractor Will Be Held Responsible for Any Damage to the Service Line or Meter Service. The Contractor Will Be Held Responsible for All Traffic Control And Mobilization Needed Throughout the Scope of the Project. The Contractor Shall Include All Materials, Labor, Equipment, Etc. Needed to Complete the Work in Each Pay Item. The City Has the Authority to Stop Work at Any Given Time if Funds Have Been Expended or Work Appears to Be Unsafe.
