This project consists of furnishing and paying for all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to install an acoustic enclosure around existing Pump No. 1 and 2 at the Keanu Line Booster Station in accordance with the plans and specifications, in place complete and ready for operation. This work includes a new mute structure with CMU walls, metal roofing, acoustic panels, skylights, and lighting. Site restoration and perimeter noise testing after completion is also included. Installation of mute buildings, acoustic enclosures, or similar structures Work shall be coordinated with the other construction project at the site, Keanu Line Booster - Replacement of Pumping Units, Job 16-007. Work shall not begin until completion of Job 16-007. All prospective bidders shall be contractors holding a current and active A or B "General Contracting" license from the State of Hawaii and the burden of proof shall rest with the Bidder. Any mechanical or plumbing work within five feet of the building structure shall be done by a Contractor holding a current C-37 Plumbing Contractor license from the State of Hawaii and the burden of proof shall rest with the General Contractor. Start of Service Date: 09/15/2025 End of Service Date: 03/15/2027 The BWS reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive all defects and to eliminate or delete from the Contract any ITEM NUMBER or any work included under any LUMP SUM bid or UNIT PRICE bid or any part of any UNIT PRICE bid in the Proposal. No payment shall be made for the deleted work. The estimated construction cost is between $500,000 to $2,500,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
