Contractors interested in submitting construction bids for the Chiller Replacement at Margaret Brent Middle School in Mechanicsville, Maryland, for the Board of Education of St. Mary's County, are invited to prequalify in accordance with the Prequalification Process of St. Mary's County Public Schools, and the requirements of this Prequalification Package. Project Cost Class C - $500,000 to $1,000,000 This Project is generally comprised of, but not limited to, the following: The replacement of two (2) air cooled chillers and associated piping, insulation, valving, power connections and automatic temperature control interface with the existing Building Automation System (BAS). The chillers are located at grade, on a concrete equipment pad within a chain link fence enclosure. Substantial Completion: April 3, 2026 Final Completion: April 24, 2026 Deadline for Questions: Any prospective contractor desiring an explanation or interpretation of this invitation to prequalify must request such in writing in advance of March 28, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. to allow a reply to reach all prospective contractors before the submission deadline.
