Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Dekalb, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As of April 10, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on April 17, 2025. The project will consist of various tasks, including surface cleaning, brushing, crack routing and cleaning, crack filling, seal coating, striping (painting) or marking, and related work in accordance with the construction plans at River Heights GC, Buena Vista GC, Welsh Park, and the DeKalb Nature Trail, or any other related work within the DeKalb Park District. Other Bidding Information: a.) Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Department of Labor or determined by the court upon review shall be paid to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract (820 ILCS 130/0.01). b.) The DeKalb Park District is exempt from Illinois state, municipal, or county Retailers Occupation Tax, Service Occupation Tax, and Service Use Tax as described in Illinois Compiled Statute Chapter 35. Bid prices shall not include the cost of such taxes, c.) All bids must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond, certified check, bank cashier's check, or bank draft payable to the DeKalb Park District for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder instructions. 5. Rejection of Bids: The DeKalb Park District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities as deemed necessary.
