The MD of Smoky River is seeking quotations to supply 15,000t of aggregate to be loaded to MD operated trucks by the MD in the source location. The aggregate shall meet the Alberta Transportation Standard Specifications for Highway Construction Edition 16, 2019. The aggregate shall be conveniently located within the source for loading and hauling. The MD will supply and operate a loader with a bucket scale for this work and may consider using a platform scale should one be available at the source and be considered by the MD to be suitable for this purpose. Bidders shall satisfy themselves regarding the function of the measurement for payment method. Prices quotes for the 15,000t will be adjusted for the road distance from the source to the MD yard in Falher, AB at a rate of $1,950/km. Quotation pricing will include all aspects of the work including, but not limited to mobilization, the production of the aggregate and reclamation of the source, equipment and operator expenses, applicable insurance and WCB costs, and all other related expenses.
