Renovation of an educational facility in Liberty, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
All proposals shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the "Proposal Bid Bond" form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the Liberty CUSD #2 or a bank cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check payable to the Liberty CUSD #2 for not less than 5 percent (5%) of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications. The Liberty CUSD #2 reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities and reserves the right to determine the qualifications of any and all contractors to perform the work required under this contract. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past. Bidders are notified that not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor shall be paid to all workmen performing work under this contract. Bids may be held by the Liberty CUSD #2 for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. ** doc info : Printing and shipping fees for hard copies are the responsibility of the Contractor.
