The City of Ames (City) is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to replace its existing (8) sanitary sewer flow monitors and data loggers. The City of Ames utilizes flow monitors in the sanitary sewer collection system to monitor flow, level, and velocity in the system. The data provided by the monitors is used to make maintenance decisions and to calibrate sanitary sewer flow modeling. All responses must be submitted before the deadline. No late responses will be reviewed. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. The City of Ames reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to make such awards as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City.
