Renovation of an educational facility in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. Selinsgrove Area School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 10 percent of the bid amount. Bid security shall be in the form of a bid bond or certified check made payable to Selinsgrove Area School District. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a Performance Bond and Labor & Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent of the Base Bid. The cost of these bonds shall be included as part of the base bid price. No individual sureties will be allowed. Surety must be licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Bids for the following prime construction contractors shall be accepted: General Construction. Removal of an existing 144 s.F. Refrigerator and a existing 132 s.F. Freezer and replacement with new 144 s.F refrigerator and 132 s.F. Freezer located within the middle school at 359 seals avenue, selinsgrove, pa 17870.
