Sealed bids for Contract for the Selinsgrove Industrial Track - Slope Stabilization Repair will be received Work under Contract includes but is not limited to clearing and grubbing, an imbricated rock wall, slope and stream bed regrading, erosion controls, and other minor site work. This project requires railroad protective liability insurance since work occurs within fifty (50) feet of a railroad. Addenda will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record with the Authority as having obtained the Contract Documents. Question Deadline 07/25/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be sent in writing via email to SEDA-COG Joint Rail Authority in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Owner in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid total. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date, with the right to extend the time to 120 days if additional time is required due to approval of another government agency. The SEDA-COG Joint Rail Authority reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Authority, and to reject any or all bids.
