Renovation of a municipal facility in Tallahassee, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,468-square-foot, four-story above grade municipal facility.
DESCRIPTION: The Work Includes: renovating the former Tax Collector space and adjacent HVAC room on the first floor, B-Wing South of the Neil Kirkman Building into three new suites and an expanded breakroom. 1. Additive Alternate 1: Replace Breakroom millwork and plumbing fixtures. 2. Additive Alternate 2: Replace building main entry storefronts. 3. Additive Alternate 3: Install new gravity ventilator at top of outside air duct, on roof. Field verify size of the existing roof curb; new ventilator will mount to existing curb. BID PACKAGES BIDDING: · 2A Abatement and Demolition (see Alternates 1 & 2) · 6A Wood, Plastics and Composites (includes counter tops) (see Alternate 1) · 8A Doors, Frames and Door Hardware · 8B Windows, Glass & Glazing (see Alternate 2) · 9A Walls and/or Ceiling Systems · 9B Luxury Vinyl tile flooring and Carpet · 9C Painting · 21A Fire Suppression · 22A Plumbing (see Alternate 1) · 23A HVAC (see Alternate 3) · 26A Electrical (see Alternates 1 & 2) Direct all bids/inquiries to the construction manager. *Bidders who have not previously been under contract with CBI are required to prequalify for this project. Subcontractor Pre-Qualification Form are due to the Project Manager no later than EOD April 17, 2025* SCOPE OF WORK This intent of this Bid Package is to incorporate all work, labor, materials, supervision, equipment, and other services required for the complete installation of said package, for the completion of DMS NKB 1 st Floor B-Wing South Major Interior Renovation Leon County, Florida. All work shall be performed per the plans and specifications prepared by MLD Architects Includes all conditions of this bid package, all documents referred to herein and the attached contract documents. No revisions shall be made to the form without prior approval from this office. GENERAL SUMMARY: Furnish & Install all work and items associated with Abatement & Demolition Complete, as described herein, and particularly the following specifications section(s): SPECIFICATIONS SECTION: All sheets in the Construction Documents - and in accordance with Cook Brothers, Inc.'s contract with the Owner. WORK INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO: General Scope All required licenses, certifications, permits and insurance. Requesting and coordinating all required inspections. Coordination & integration of work with other Trades. All layout, engineering, and field surveying. All applicable shop drawings, submittals and as-built drawings. All OSHA safety requirements, equipment and procedures related to this scope of work. All hoisting, rigging, staging and material handling labor & equipment. Construction Manager is not responsible for materials or equipment stored on site. Coordinate all deliveries & staging with CBI Superintendent at least 24 hours in advance. Trade contractors are responsible for daily clean-up of job site. Complete CBI subcontractor daily report & submit to CBI's Superintendent by the next day. Attend mandatory weekly subcontractor and safety meetings while mobilized on-site.
