The Town of Burke is soliciting established Landscaping and Property Management Companies for the Seasonal Maintenance of the Town's five cemeteries. o Burke Meeting House Cemetery - Burke Hollow Road, West Burke o Hillside Cemetery - Burke Hollow Road, West Burke o Howland Cemetery - Burke Hollow Road, West Burke o Burke Green Cemetery - Burke Green Road, East Burke o Woodmount Cemetery - US Route 114, East Burke Work includes spring leaf and debris cleanup/removal, mowing, weed-cutting/trimming along the various walls, fences, and vaults. Trimming around markers - including the in-ground markers. Pruning of ornamental shrubs; and fall leaf and debris cleanup/removal. General maintenance to keep the properties in good order. Grub treatments may be needed. The successful bidder shall have their own equipment and maintain the insurances required by the State of Vermont for the scope of work that is agreed to and shall be in compliance with all applicable state and federal laws governing labor and safety while performing the contracted work. Previous experience maintaining cemeteries is preferable. References may be required upon request.
