The Town of Shelburne seeks a qualified consultant or team to assist the Planning & Zoning Department on a study regarding the environmental and financial impacts of paving Pond Road. Work Plan and Deliverables A report, with cost analysis, mitigation and design recommendations, cost effectiveness of various mitigation efforts, and approximate paving costs. Community engagement meetings. A presentation of final report to the Selectboard. Submission Requirements Proposals should include: Proposed timeline with outlined workplan and anticipated methodology approach for this project Cost proposals for the entire project Proposed public engagement process and explanation Project team (qualification, references, work history, similar municipal projects) The Town reserves the right to seek clarification of any proposal submitted and to select the proposal considered to best promote public interest. All proposals become the property of the Town of Shelburne upon submission. The cost of preparing and submitting a proposal is the sole expense of the consultant. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received as a result of this solicitation, to interview and negotiate with any qualified source, to waive any formality and any technicalities or to cancel the RFP in part or in its entirety if it is in the best interest of the Town. This solicitation of proposals in no way obligates the Town to award a contract.
