RFP Design - Shelburne Seawalls Evaluation and Conceptual Design The Municipality is soliciting structural inspection, assessment, and conceptual design recommendation services for two lakeshore sea walls in Shelburne. The requested services include inspecting the current seawalls to determine the necessity for repairs or reconstruction. If reconstruction is deemed necessary, the consultant is to create preliminary design plans based on bioengineering strategies featured in the Vermont State Lakewise standards and the Shoreline Stabilization Handbook developed by the Northwest Regional Planning Commission. The consultant will provide structural inspection and, if needed, preliminary design plans for the Shelburne Town Beach Seawall and Harbor Rd Seawall across from the Shelburne Shipyard.
