The project involves the installation of a new sewer forcemain along Harbor Road, the Ti-Haul Trail, and Bay Road. The new forcemain will consist of approximately 6,920 linear feet (LF) of 14-inch HDPE and 450 feet of 6-inch HDPE installed via directional drill, and approximately 1,235 feet of 14-inch HDPE, 4,375 feet of 12-inch PVC, 2,350 feet of 6-inch PVC, and 4,095 feet of 4-inch PVC main installed via open trenching. The new forcemain will include cleanout vaults and all other necessary appurtenances. Prospective bidders may obtain or examine the bidding documents at Blueprints, Etc, 20 Farrell Street, South Burlington, VT, during business hours, and may purchase full sets of bidding documents, either as printed copies or in PDF format, for a non-refundable fee. Partial sets are not available. Only documents obtained from the Issuing Office will be considered official. Bids must comply with the following requirements: bid security, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements, performance and payment bonds each for 100% of the contract price, compliance with American Iron and Steel (AIS) provisions, federal wage rates under the Davis-Bacon Act, prohibition on certain telecommunications equipment, and Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements.
