Site work for a water / sewer project in Shelburne, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Town of Shelburne's Wastewater Treatment Facility Consolidation project consists of: conversion of WWTF #2 to a pump station, construction of a force main from WWTF #2 to WWTF #1, and upgrade/expansion of WWTF #1. Installation of the force main will be conducted under Contract #1, and expansion of WWTF #1 will be conducted under Contract #2. The purpose of this request for proposals (RFP) is to solicit qualifications from equipment manufacturers for a sequencing batch reactor (SBR) system for the upgrades of WWTF #1 under Contract #2. It is the intent of the Town of Shelburne to pre-select the SBR system that will be used in the upgrades of WWTF #1, complete a design for WWTF #1 based on the selected SBR system, and designate the selected SBR equipment supplier as the sole source for the SBR equipment in Contract #2.
