Site work and paving for a road / highway in Manhattan, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Principal Items of Work: Alternate #1 Approximately 8.6 miles of Bituminous Hot Mix Asphalt at six (6) locations in Riley County applied using the Construction Method listed below and performing approximately 145,200 Square Yards of Asphalt Pavement Milling at the two specified locations. Altemate#2 Approximately 9.5 miles of Bituminous Hot Mix Asphalt at seven (7) locations in Riley County applied using the Construction Method listed below and performing approximately 158,200 Square Yards of Asphalt Pavement Milling at the two specified locations. Construction Method: Asphalt Pavement Milling a depth of 1.0" and Delivery and application of 1.5" of Bituminous All bidders must be on the plan holders list to be eligible. No Bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of 30 days following the opening of Bids. The Riley County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities in considering Bids and to accept the Bid which, in the Board's opinion, is in the best interest of Riley County.
