This project consists of modifications and additions at the City of Marysville's existing waste-water treatment plant (WWTP), which include but are not limited to the following items: New 20-inch electrically actu-ated plug valve in the Steamboat Slough outfall flow meter vault, including modifications to existing piping in the vault to fit the new valve and coating all new and existing piping, valves, and appur-tenances within the vault. New 20-inch flow meter in the Steamboat Slough outfall flow meter vault. New 20-inch electrically actu-ated plug valve in the Steamboat Slough outfall flow meter vault, including modifications to exist. ing piping in the vault to fit the new valve and coating all new and existing piping, valves, and appur-tenances within the vault. New 20-inch flow meter in the Steamboat Slough outfall flow meter vault. New 30-inch electrically actu-ated butterfly valve in the Everett WPCF Secondary Effluent Pump Station (SEPS) outfall flow meter vault, including coating all new and existing piping, valves and appurtenances within the vault. New double-contained pipe-line (including trenching, backfill, compaction and asphalt repair), service saddle, and injection quill for conveyance and dosing of neat sodium hypochlorite solution into the SEPS outfall flow meter vault. New sampling station consist-ing of piping to a new freeze-proof hose bib branching off an existing connection for an air release valve assembly. The Engineer's Estimate for this project is $670,000. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond (with an autho-rized surety company as sure-ty) made payable to the City of Marysville in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The City of Marysville reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding.
