Site work and paving for a road / highway in Shrewsbury Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Provide and place DOUBLE application of calibrated surface treatment in accordance with Publication 408. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and material. Emulsion shall be E-3M. Application rate shall be 0.4 gallons per square yard per application. Contractor to furnish and place approximately 55,000 sq. yd. of calibrated chipping. All bids must be accompanied by cash, certified check, money order, or bid bond with corporate surety made payable to Shrewsbury Township in the minimum amount of 10% of the bid price. All bids shall remain irrevocable for thirty (30) days after the date of the bid opening. Shrewsbury Township reserves the right to waive any technicalities or informalities, the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, and the right to award a base bid, an alternate bid or any combination thereof, at its sole discretion, as is in the best interest of Shrewsbury Township. Bid date description: Bids may be hand-delivered, mailed, or overnighted to Shrewsbury Township at 12341 Susquehanna Trail South, Glen Rock, PA, 17327, Attn. Todd A. Zeigler, Township Manager, and will be considered if received prior to the date and time mentioned herein. Facsimile and email bids shall be rejected.
