Shrewsbury Borough Council hereby authorizes James R. Holley & Associates, Inc. to act on their behalf by opening bids. Bids will be considered and contracts awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of Borough Council based on the recommendation of the Engineer. Work shall consist of, but not be limited to, Water System Replacement Work along four streets in Shrewsbury Borough. Question Deadline 06/05/2025 at 4:00 PM ET Location online portal. The project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 as amended. Wage rates are included in the contract documents. Shrewsbury Borough Council hereby authorizes James R. Holley & Associates, Inc. to act on their behalf by opening bids. Bids will be considered and contracts awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of Borough Council based on the recommendation of the Engineer. A bid bond or certified check made payable to Shrewsbury Borough in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany the sealed bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Each bidder shall be prepared to submit evidence of their qualifications to perform the work. The Borough reserves the right, which is agreed and understood by all bidders, to accept or reject any or all bids and waive irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn by the bidder for 60 days after opening of bid proposals.
