SCOPE OF WORK Springfield Utility Board (SUB) seeks a contractor to install underground facilities consisting of three (3) two-inch (2") and five (5) three-inch (3") poly or schedule 40 conduits for replacing existing underground electric distribution cable for the entire length of the project. This work will include installing two (2) Secondary J-Box and two (2) 4x4 concrete vaults and diamond plate lids. The work will consist of boring and/or trenching at multiple locations. Location: Work will include, but not limited to, Installing two (2) Secondary J-Box, two (2) 4x4 Vaults, three (3) two-inch (2") and five (5) three-inch (3") conduits at multiple locations in Springfield OR. 1. Install new SUB 4x4 Vault #23A022 and diamond plate lid ~10' FT. South of existing Vault #77E185 at 488 Cascade Drive. 2. Install new SUB 4x4 transformer Vault #23A024 and diamond plate lid at 548 Cascade Drive. 3. Install ~10' ft. one (1) two-inch (2") schedule 40 conduit north of new SUB Vault #23A022 at 488 Cascade Drive for SUB use during Phase #2. 4. Trench ~440' ft. to install one (1) two-inch (2") schedule 40 conduit starting at new SUB vault (23A022) at 488 Cascade Drive going South to new SUB vault (23A024) at 548 Cascade Drive. Cutting and trenching across driveways and Cascade Drive. 5. Trench ~300' ft. to install one (1) two-inch (2") schedule 40 conduit starting at new SUB Vault #23A024 at 548 Cascade Drive going South to SUB Vault #77E194 at 532 Cascade Drive. 6. Trench ~200' ft. to install one (1) three-inch (3") schedule 40 conduit starting at new SUB vault #23A024 at 548 Cascade Drive going South to SUB Vault #77E193 at 538 Cascade Drive. 7. Trench ~100' ft. to install two (2) three-inch (3") schedule 40 conduit starting from new SUB Vault #23A022 at 488 Cascade Drive going West to SUB Vault #77E190 in the NW corner of 488 Cascade Drive. 8. Trench ~300' ft. to install one (1) three-inch (3") schedule 40 conduit starting at new SUB Vault #23A022 at 488 Cascade Drive going SE to the western property line at 500 Cascade drive then following property line south to property line, then following property line East and install New SUB J-Box #23J038 at 535 S. 68th Place. 9. Install ~200' ft. one (1) three-inch (3") schedule 40 conduit starting at new SUB Vault #23A022 at 488 Cascade Drive going SE to western property line at 500 Cascade Drive, then following property line south and install new Secondary J-Box #23J013 in the SW corner of 500 Cascade Drive. 10. Trench ~60' ft. to install one (1) three-inch (3") schedule 40 conduit starting at SUB Vault #77E196 at 6868 Forsythia Drive going north to Secondary J-Box #77J002 at 561 S. 68th Place. 11. Contractor shall restore any roadways or sidewalks to meet City of Springfield specifications. 12. Contractor shall restore any disturbed driveways, patios or landscaping to original condition or better. 13. Contractor shall provide SUB a copy of all encroachment permits prior to commencing work. Contractor is responsible for requesting underground utility locates, private locates and is responsible for pot holing as necessary. Encroachment Permit will be required, and will be obtained by contractor.
