Only written Requests For Information (RFI) will be accepted. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified bank check or bid bond from a domestic carrier licensed to do business in the State of New York in the amount of not less than five (5%) of the amount of the bid submitted. This project is funded by New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (NYS EFC). Prospective bidders should review the requirements included in the Contract Documents including American Iron and Steel Compliance (AIS) and MWBE and SDVOB participation. New York State certified MWBE participation goal for this contract is 20%. The goal may be achieved through any combination of MBE and/or WBE participation. The LCWSA has established the following participation goals on this Project: - 30% Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) (any combination of MBE and/or WBE participation) - 6% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOBs) Security for Faithful Performance: The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds written by firms licensed to do business in New York State, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amounts in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents.
