No definite date for the rebid.** Northampton County Division of Parks & Recreation (Norco Parks) is seeking to collaborate with a design firm that has full communications design capabilities across the disciplines of signage development, brand identity, marketing and interpretive graphic design to work with us on expanding our informational and wayfinding orientation kiosks within park entry points and wayside exhibits at points of interest in our parks. The design firm will work with Norco Parks to build on our existing brand and expand our graphic and copy design elements. Our goal is to develop signage standards that can work across the county parks system and enhance the county parks signage brand. 3-Panel Information/Orientation Kiosk: • One information kiosk panel should provide an overview of the entire Norco Parks System, including an overall parks map of all park properties and park rules and regulations and instructions on how to reserve park facilities, like pavilions, campsites and tennis courts. • A second panel should focus on the particular park in which the kiosk is located. It should include a property site map indicating park amenities, facilities, history and points of interest . It should also list the park's address, park and emergency phone numbers and park hours. • A third panel-perhaps a locked bulletin board-should provide for revolving park info, like community program schedules, public notices, seasonal changes, employment opportunities and more. Interpretive/Educational Wayside Exhibits: • Will include high-profile 36"x48" panels and low-profile 36"x48" or 24"x36" panels. • Commercial exhibit frames and bases could be purchased for the wayside exhibits and custom-fabricated, weathered steel panel bases and pedestals could also be manufactured for wayside exhibits, particularly for lowprofile exhibits.
