ALTERNATE BID:22,293 SY Fog Seal 2025 Road Paving 1,715 Tons of 9.5mm Superpave, WMA PG 64S-22, Wearing Course, 0.3 to 3 million ESAL's, SRL-L, 240 LBs/SY/2" Depth in place to be placed on various areas of roadway. 14,294 SY 2" milling entire roadway,material property of the contractor. All materials and workmanship must meet the requirements and standards of PennDOT Publication 408 - Specifications, and bidders must be PennDOT prequalified. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. Proposals should be marked "2025 ROAD PAVING FOR LETTING OF MAY 1,2025" or "SEAL COAT BID PROPOSAL FOR LETTING OF MAY 1, 2025" All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Forks Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. All work must be completed by August 31, 2025, for the Seal Coat Contract and October 31, 2025 for the Paving Contract;liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $975.00 per day for each day beyond these dates that the work remains incomplete. The Forks Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Township. PA Prevailing Wages apply to the 2025 Bituminous Paving Contract only.
