Granite Falls Fishway Electrical Repairs SH:M31:2025-1 Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and permits to construct electrical infrastructure repairs at the Department's Granite Falls Fish Ladder For information or technical questions regarding this project, email CAMP.Bids@dfw.wa.gov with the project title and project number in subject line. If the project is estimated at or above one million dollars, a mandatory 15 percent Apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours are a requirement of this contract. The Apprenticeship Utilization Requirements are identified in Section 00100 Instructions To Bidder. Bidders may contact the Department of Labor & Industries, Apprenticeship Programs. Minority and Women's Business Enterprises (MWBE) are encouraged to participate in the bidding as prime contractors, subcontractors, or suppliers. Sending your bid through the United States Postal Services (USPS) or United States Express Mail will not guarantee your bid will be received at the location on time. Each bid must be submitted on the current Bid Form, Section 00300 contained in these Bid Documents. Place your required bid documents into an envelope clearly marked on the outside with "BID ENCLOSED", the project name, and project number. Envelope shall clearly identify your Company's name and address Company Name Address City, State Zip BID ENCLOSED PROJECT NAME PROJECT NUMBER BID OPENING The lowest responsive bid and responsible bidder is based upon the Base Bid. The Owner reserves the right to award the contract amount based on any or all of the bid items listed, to restrict the contract amount to the funds available, and to reject any or all bids for any reason whatsoever and waive informalities. Base bids greater than $150,000; Contractor shall provide separate Payment and Performance Bonds, each executed by Contractor and Contractor's Surety. B. Base bids $150,000 or less, Contractor shall provide separate Payment and Performance Bonds, each executed by Contractor and Contractor's Surety, unless the Contractor agrees Owner may, in lieu of the bond(s), retain 10 percent of the Contract Sum for the period allowed by RCW 39.08.010 Question Deadline 04/10/2025 at 2:00 PM PT For information or technical questions regarding this project email CAMP.Bids@dfw.wa.gov with the project title and project number in subject line and address questions to the Project Manager. Questions resulting in changes to the scope or nature of the drawings, specifications, or bid documents will be answered by addendum/addenda reflective of the Owner's process. The Owner will target answering questions no later than two business days prior to the bid opening. All addenda issued are part of the bid documents. The Owner will not be responsible for any oral interpretations. Substantial Completion shall be achieved by May 30, 2025. Final Completion shall be achieved by June 13, 2025. The undersigned agrees to pay the Owner as liquidated damages the sum of $375 for each consecutive calendar day that is in default after the Contract Time. Liquidated damages shall be deducted from the Contract by Change Order.
