**As of July 30,2025, the project was awarded to Welwest Construction, Inc., with an awarded amount of $1,090,300.84.** Furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the Cascade Avenue and Grand Street Improvements. This Contract provides for roadway and utility improvements in and along CascadeAvenue from Grand Street to Stanley Street, approximately 2,000 feet, and Grand Avenue from Cascade Avenue to Kentucky Avenue, approximately 1,000 feet, Prospect Avenue from 301 Prospect Avenue to 308 Prospect Avenue, approximately 250feet, and Granite Avenue from Union Street to Galena Street, approximately 350feet. Improvements include, but are not limited to, planing, pavement repair, overlay, water main improvements, cement concrete curb, gutter and sidewalk repairs, traffic control, pavement markings and other related work items. The Work shall be Substantially complete within 80working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the City of Granite Falls and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. Contract questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer. Financing of the Project has been provided by City of Granite Falls, Washington and Washington State Transportation Improvement Board. The City of Granite Falls expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal
