Upper Fraser Boat Ramp This project consists of adding a portland cement concrete approach to the existing boat ramp, replace/repair the existing parking area that has been washed away by flooding, install rock veins into the Des Moines River and installing riprap to the upstream riverbank to protect the boat ramp in Boone County, Iowa and includes clearing and grubbing, grading, and installation of a new concrete approach to the existing boat ramp with adjacent gravel parking area along with rock veins and adding riprap to the riverbanks upstream and downstream of the existing boat ramp. Proposal Guarantee: $6,250.00 Completion Date: 11/30/2025 Each bidder shall accompany the bid with a bid security as defined in Iowa code section 26.8. Copies of the bid security will be accepted for those bidders submitting bids electronically. Additionally, if the apparent lowest responsible, responsive bidder submits an electronic bid security, the original security must be mailed to the Department, at 6200 Park Avenue, Suite 200, Des Moines, IA, 50321, within five business days of the bid letting date. The bid security must be in an amount set forth in the bidding documents and made payable to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. Failure to execute a contract for the proposed work and file an acceptable Performance Bond, in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price and a certificate of liability insurance, within thirty days of the date of the award of the contract, will be just and sufficient cause for the rescinding of the award and the forfeiture of the bid security.
