Rathbun Fish Hatchery Pond Liner Replacement Proposal Guarantee: $375,000.00 Completion Date: 12/31/2025 The base bid for the Rathbun State Fish Hatchery improvement project includes the work necessary to remove the existing liner, repair any grading issues, install new liner, install concrete apron around the existing kettles and stairs, and repair the existing sluice gates. Bid alternate 1 includes the removal of the existing concrete stairs and installation of 6- aluminum stairs with railing. Bid alternate 2 includes removal and replacement of the existing aerators and all electrical service required to power the aerators. Bid alternate 3 includes removal and replacement of all 6-in. butterfly valves and one 8-in. butterfly valve located in Manhole 1. Each bidder shall accompany the bid with a bid security as defined in Iowa code section 26.8. Copies of the bid security will be accepted for those bidders submitting bids electronically. Additionally, if the apparent lowest responsible, responsive bidder submits an electronic bid security, the original security must be mailed to the Department, at 6200 Park Avenue, Suite 200, Des Moines, IA, 50321, within five business days of the bid letting date. The bid security must be in an amount set forth in the bidding documents and made payable to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
