Renovation of a hospitality development in Moravia, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a hospitality development.
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services will be receiving bids for removal and replacement of the asphalt shingle roof and selective EPDM roofing as well as removal and replacement of an RTU serving the kitchen at Honey Creek Resort, Moravia, Iowa 52571. Bid Package # 1 - Awarded - Rigid Edge Exteriors $166,170 Bid Package #2 - Awarded - Mullanack Builders $121,351 Bid Package #3 - Awarded - Home Revisions, LLC $27,000 The Iowa Department of Administrative Services anticipates construction to begin on September 2nd , 2025 and end on October 31st , 2025. The Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check drawn upon a solvent bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America. This project is exempt from Iowa Sales Tax. Davis Bacon Wages will not apply to this project. The Iowa Department of Administrative Services reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive irregularities and to accept a bid that is deemed in the best interest of the State of Iowa.
