Value Notes: Base Bid: $879,263, Add Alt 1: $221,400 Project construction can begin on May 31, 2025 ; substantially complete by October 10, 2025 ; Est. Completion Date: Oct. 17, 2025 This project includes all materials, equipment, transportation and labor needed to complete remove and replace the existing playground equipment at Timber Ridge Elementary. The Base Bid improvements include the following: Removal of the existing playground equipment and safety mulch, removal of edger materials, underlying granular base, engineering fabric and subdrain, limited pavement removal, fence removal and reinstallation, grading and shaping, installation of storm sewer and subdrains, installation of concrete curb, furnish and installment of new play equipment, installation of installation of concrete base and poured-in-place safety surfacing, installation of overhead shade structure and site restoration. Alternate Bid Item No. 1 includes grading and shaping, fence removal and reinstallation, installation of subdrain and storm sewers, installation of granular base and engineering fabric, installation of concrete curb wall, and installation of synthetic turf system. Substantial completion for the play area improvements (Base Bid) shall be on or before September 5, 2025. The playground area shall be open to the Owner to use on or before September 8, 2025. Work associated with Alternate Bid Item No. 1- Synthetic Turf) shall be substantially complete by October 10, 2025. All construction activities shall be fully complete by October 17, 2025.
