The work for the 2025 Concrete Street Repair (Various Streets) Project will consist of the approximate quantities: Base Bid: Mobilization 1 LS Curb & Gutter (2-6 Combined) (AE) (Remove & Replace) 343 LF Base Removal and Replace (AB-3) (4 Compacted) 500 SY Concrete Pavement (9 Reinforced) (AE) (Remove & Replace) 904 SY Protection Curb (8) 63 LF Concrete Sidewalk (4 Plain) (AE) (Remove & Replace) 110 SY Sidewalk Ramp 44 SY Temporary Inlet Sediment Barrier 8 EA Permanent Seeding, Fertilizer and Mulch 1 LS Traffic Control 1 LS Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, a cashiers check, or an approved bidders bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Any bid bond must be with a surety and guaranty company authorized to do business in the State of Kansas and acceptable to the City as Surety. The Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to furnish statutory bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract, and performance and maintenance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract; the bonds to be acceptable to the City of Emporia, Kansas, and conform to the requirements of the Contract documents.
